Editorial policy

Active Balanced Living aims to make everyday wellbeing topics clear, measured and useful. We explain the basis of our wording, avoid claims stronger than the available information supports, and welcome corrections.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements before publication and phrase uncertain or context-dependent points with care. When an article describes a general habit or idea, we do not present it as a guaranteed outcome. We revise wording when a claim is unclear, incomplete or likely to give readers the wrong impression.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are kept distinct from commercial arrangements. Paid, sponsored or partner material is labelled clearly so readers can tell it apart from editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable treatment, and commercial relationships do not determine our conclusions.

Corrections

If you notice a factual error, send the article and the point in question through the Contact page. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, making the change clear where it matters to a reader's understanding.

Images

Some illustrations may be generated with artificial intelligence. Illustrative images are not presented as documentary evidence, and visual choices should not be read as proof of a health or wellbeing claim.
